Attention

The birth of Hanna was a big event for our family. For our cats, too. Flip, one of our cats, is a kind of cat who always needs attention. It was a routine to mew when anyone come close to his structure and be petted. But now Hanna's bassinet is in front of his structure! All of us greet come to Hanna, but not to him.
He is so jealous! It was the same when Maya was a baby. Now they are good friends. So he needs to be patient to be friends with Hanna.

ハナの誕生は、私たちにとって一大イベントでしたが、うちの猫たちにとっても同じ事です。特にフリップは、とっても甘えん坊でいつでも注目されていたいタイプの猫なんです。大好きな台の上で「にゃ〜！」と一声鳴けば、みんなフリップをなでてあげていました。ところが、ハナのベッドをその前に置いてしまったので、みんなハナのところで止まってしまい、フリップが幾ら鳴いても注目されるのはハナばかり、、、なので、フリップにとっては辛い日々です。。。マヤが赤ちゃんだった時も全く同じでしたが、今では大の仲良し。だからハナと友達になるのは、後数年我慢するしかありません！がんばれ、フリップ！

Big sis

Long time no posting! Hanna is 3 months now. (Already!) We all got used to our new lives. It has been a big change for all of us in my family. Especially for Maya! For the first one week, Maya was very confused. She even didn't want to look at me and Hanna straightly... But after a while, her LOVE for her little sister exploded! She kisses Hanna 100 times a day. She takes care of her very well, when she starts to cry, (better than me...) She says, "Hanna is so cute, whatever she does, even when she is crying!!!"And Hanna loves Maya so much, too. Whatever Maya does to her, (sometimes very rough) Hanna seems to enjoy it.

ご無沙汰していま〜す！お陰様で、ハナは３ヶ月になり、私たちの新しい生活に慣れてきました。私たち一家にとって、特にマヤにとって、ハナの誕生は大きな変化でした。初めの一週間は、私とハナの顔をまともに見る事もできずいじけていました。でも少ししたら、彼女の溺愛ぶりはすごいです！キスしまくり、鳴き声が聞こえたら直ぐさまあやしにくるし、「はなちゃんは、泣いていてもかわいい。何していてもかわいい。」と言う具合にラブラブです。ハナもそんなお姉ちゃんが大好きの様で、マヤが何をしようと（かなり乱暴ですが、、、）ご機嫌でニコニコしています！

Hanna on her birthday

My new baby, Hanna, was born 3 weeks earlier than the due date! Tomorrow is going to be her one month birthday! I have so many things to write about, but not enough time right now...'_'
But everyone in my family is doing well and enjoying our new life!
I'll come back as soon as I can! Thank you!

予定日より３週間早く、次女の花菜（はな）を出産しました。早いもので、明日で１ヶ月になります。書きたい事はたくさんあるのですが、コンピューターに向かう時間がないので少しの間ブログをお休みしています。でも、家族全員元気に新しい生活を楽しんでいます。もう少し落ち着いたら再開しますので乞うご期待！

Woman's Body

I'll be starting 35 weeks in pregnancy tomorrow. My belly is getting bigger and I'm feeling stronger kicks and hiccups all the time!
One of my friend touched and looked at my belly and said, "How amazing woman's body is...". I totally agree with her. Where did my stomach move to? Really all of my internal organs plus my growing baby are fitted inside me??? Somehow, they know what to do and do what they need to do by themselves. Thanks my body, making me alive and helping my baby grow!

明日から妊娠３５週目に入ります。私のお腹はどんどん大きくなって、赤ちゃんのキックは激しくなる一方です。
友達が私のお腹を触って、じっと見ながら、「女の人の体ってすごいよね！」っと、しみじみ言いました。本当にそうですね。私の胃袋はどこに行ってしまったのか？本当に元々体の中にあったすべてのものと赤ちゃんがちゃんが、この中にはいっているのかな？私の知らないところで、体が何もかも全部分かっていて、誰にも指示されずにも調和をとっている。すごいとしか言い様がない。私の体に感謝です。私を生かし続けて、赤ちゃんの成長を助けてくれて、本当にありがとう！

Training Wheels

Maya got her bicycle with training wheels two years ago and the training wheels are still on... She is very athletic like my husband, but very coward like me. She gets very scared of even little hills in our neighborhood.
It is just so funny to see her on her bicycle! When she rides, her body tilts on one side, totally depending on one of the training wheels. Her face becomes very serious. Her stuffed animal is in the front basket as her spiritual guide. She goes very very slow. People passing by cannot help smiling at her!
It looks like the training wheels will still stay on her bike for a while...

補助輪つきのピンクの自転車を二年前に買いました。そして、二年後の今、まだ補助輪つきです。まやは旦那の血を引いて、とっても運動神経がいいのに、恐がりなところは私そっくり。近所で練習しても、ちょっとした坂道があるだけで大騒ぎなってしまいます。
自転車に乗っている姿は、へっぴり腰で、片側に体が倒れて補助輪にもたれかかり、必ずぬいぐるみを前のバスケット二入れ、とっても真剣な顔つきで、それも亀のように遅く走ります。。。通行人は、そんなまやを見て必ずニコニコしています。
まだしばらく補助輪のお世話になりそうです。

Happy Valentine's Day!

Hole in Knee

Half of Maya's leggings and tights have holes in knee right now... I'm very lazy to mend them, so I wait until she complains that she have nothing to wear. Then, I mend the holes. But next day she comes home with another hole... When will the day without holes in knee come?

ただ今、まやの持っているレギングスとタイツのほぼ半分の膝小僧に穴があいています。面倒くさがりの私は、まやが「履くのがもうないよ〜！」というまで待って修繕にとりかかります。そして、直した次の日、膝の同じ場所に穴をあけて学校から帰ってくるのです。いつになったら穴を直さなくてよい日がやってくるのだろう〜！
