Frist one happened at the restaurant. Maya, all the sudden, wanted to draw the hamster at her preschool. She couldn't wait until she gets home, so she started to draw on a paper napkin. After we went home, she draw it on the paper. Maya gave the drawing to the preschool teacher next day. Surprisingly, the hamster passed away on the day Maya draw the picture. The teacher was amazed that the way she drew was exactly how the grave looks like....
Another time, in the morning, Maya looked outside and "Hi~!" to her friend who went to Japan for vacation. I told her that your friend is in Japan, so she cannot hear you. Then Maya told me "But if I think about her, my thought will reach her." without any doubt.
Thoughts are invisible, but it doesn't mean that they don't exist. Like radio waves, they are in the air. It is a powerful tool for communication. These events assured me of my believe about the power of our thoughts.
最近、私たちの想いについて考えさせられる出来事がふたつありました。
ひとつ目は、レストランでの事。マヤが突然プリスクールのハムスターの絵を描くと言い出し、家に帰ってから描くのが待てないようで、レストランのナプキンに描き始めました。家に帰ってからもう一度紙に描き、週末開けに先生に見せると、驚いた事に、マヤが絵を描いた日にそのハムスターは亡くなったそうです。さらに、マヤの描いた絵が、そのハムスターのために作ってあげたお墓にそっくりだとの事！
そして、もうひとつは、朝マヤが窓の外に向かって、今日本に行っているお友達に挨拶をしていました。私が、日本にいるんだから聞こえないよと言うと、マヤは何の疑いもなく「でも、こうやって思えば届くんだよ。」というのです。
想いって目に見えないけど、存在してないわけではありませんよね。ラジオの電波と同じで、この空気中を行き交っているとっても強力なコミュニケーションの手段だと思うんです。この二つの出来事が、私にそのことを信じさせる力を与えてくれました。
